For the Public

Thank you for visiting the Oregon Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics webpage for the public! Here you will find information about the practice of a registered dietitian and dietetic technician, registered as well as links related to food and nutrition, tools and calculators, and other resources.
The Oregon Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (Oregon Academy) is an affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and has approximately 700 nutrition professional members, both registered dietitians (RDs) and dietetic technicians, registered (DTRs). The Oregon Academy is proud to be the largest organization of nutrition professionals in Oregon, providing their expertise in food and nutrition.

In March 2013, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved the optional use of the credential registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) by all registered dietitians. The Academy states that every registered dietitian is a nutritionist, but not every nutritionist is a registered dietitian. When seeking the food and nutrition experts look for the credentials RD or RDN. For more information you can link to RDN credentials, frequently asked questions.

March is National Nutrition Month®!
