Announcements:

1. Job opportunity with CHINS program in Olympia WA. Nutrition Consultant $41-53K salary.
2. Providence Home Services is looking for a .2FTE(hopefully 6FTE) in their Home Services Department. Home visits, and tubefeeding management. Not an entry level position.
3. Doernbecher's is looking for a part-time temp. Pediatric RD. .5 FTE, hopefully would lead to permanent employment.
4. Deborah Halls with WIC resigned. So, may be some changes coming to WIC
5. Maternal/Infant Nutrition Intensive Course can do on-line. $200. go to www.cpheo.umn.edu/nutrition for more information

Old Business:

1. Treasurer's Report: Balance is $2195. Membership renewal due 7/1/04
2. Formula Committee: The decision has not been made whether or not to change the mixing of 24 kcal/oz formula. The current 3 scoops to 5 oz should still be used until a decision has been made as this does make close to 24 kcal/oz. Due to small changes in the displacement of formula powder(at least 2 years ago), there may be a more accurate recipe to use but the group has not made any decision about this.

New Business:

1. NEW OFFICERS AS OF JUNE: Chair Elect-Anne Schenk, Secretary-Alyssa DeWeise(1 year term only), Nominating Committee- Kirti Raol and Katherine Burton, Chair-Julie Corpron, Nominating Committee Chair-Patricia Rose

2.Cheryl Alto submitted request for stipend to bring Vicky James of Healthy Kids Challenge initiative to the 2005 ODA meeting. Cheryl will here by May if we get the stipend.

3. WIC is in its 30th year!! They are asking for support of the changes proposed in the food packages. The WIC program is up for reauthorization, and with current budget, WIC may be at risk for funding in the fiscal year of 2005.
